We had a great visit with Dad, enjoyed some wonderful stories about Switzerland some 50 years ago and marveled in our walk through history with Dad.

We decided not to include too many of the stories in the post, as Dad tells the story much better and we thought stories from his childhood should come directly from him.

Dad's In Town!

Dad's in Town!

We had a great time while Dad was in Switzerland!

We spent our time eating good European pastry, drinking nice, warm coffee in cozy little coffee shops and a lot of time talking. The visit was very special for us and who would have thought that we would be living in the country Dad spent time in as a child? Life is pretty interesting.

The two weeks flew by and we were able to visit the following cities:

Basel

Solothurn

Zurich

Bremgarten

Baden - Baden

Freiburg

and

Augusta Raurica for some good Roman Ruins

We will split Dad's time into a couple of different postings, as we took a ton of photos!
