Corciano

 With so much to see and do during our stay in Umrbia, we quickly sat down over dinner one evening and made one of our famous lists.  

Never knowing if we will return to a destination, we decided to make the most of our time in this wonderful location.  

So, with a little planning and the help from the owner of the hotel in which we were residing for the week, we drafted our list.

Each day we were to see an exciting, new destination and the views and the towns did not disappoint.

The photos below were taken during a day in Corciano.

The town was clean, small and as well preserved as it could be. 

And to top it off, the most stunning views were not far from our adventure - yellow fields spread out amongst the landscape.

Rapeseed flowers were everywhere and made for fantastic driving.

 We love that Noah still enjoys being toted around in the Ergo!

We hope all of the wonderful mother's out there are enjoying their special day.

The pictures above were all taken on a recent trip in Italy.  

It seems our precious Noah has an affinity for stairs.  

For each foot of walking he would do, another few minutes were spent lounging on random stairs in different towns. 

It is the gentle reminder to slow down and enjoy each passing moment.

Umbria

There is something rather magical about Italy.   

We are not sure if we are captivated by the friendliness of the people, the beautiful scenery, or the delicious food, but we love to visit.   

Last year we were fortunate enough to spend a week in Tuscany and this year, we thought it would be ideal to explore Umbria, Tuscany’s neighbor to the south.   

The landscape was just as enchanting, the food still as delicious and the towns as charming as ever.  

 Noah relished in our small apartment filled with toys and all the amenities a child would ever need. 

His days were spent running and frolicking through hill top towns, eating gelato and enjoying quality time with mom and dad.

Weekending

The weather this spring in Basel is incredible!  One of our favorite spots to visit is the local Botanical Gardens; rich with colors, amble space to run and play, a very adventurous playground that Noah adores and lots of wonderful animals to admire.  This Sunday, after a long couple of weeks of travel, Noah and Robert made a trip to the gardens to enjoy the beauty of the spring, while spending some quality “dude time.”  Nothing like the springtime with my boys!
