These Days....

 These Days We Are....
  • Grateful for vibrant health.
  • Sneaking in as much pool time as possible.
  • Preparing for the Emerald Isle.
  • Learning to walk.
  • Learning to share.
  • Reflecting on the years after college and grateful for the slight struggle...sometimes we learn so much from working hard!  Thank you Mom and Dad for all that was given and bestowed upon me.
  • Taking boat trips on the Rhine just because we live so close and just because there is something quite calming about being near and on water.
  • Kissing baby hands and amazed at how quickly they turn into big kid hands.
  • Blessed for such a wonderful husband.
  • Feeling at times far from family.
  • Basking in each moment- as there are no ordinary moments.
  • Happy to have watched the Peaceful Warrior
  • Enjoying listening to our wedding mix...and happy to have found it again...really, it has been 10 years!!!
  • Wishing you the warmth of the summer.

Taking it all in over breakfast.
 Sweet moments
Our little gal is vocal...the best way to be...
 It might just rain...
 Loving these two
Healing from a bed bouncing accident.  This little guy of ours is ALL boy!

 Loving her pool time!

Noah on the Rhine watching the passerby's.
Watching the ducks on a lazy summer day...the best kind of days really!

Right Now We Are...

Right Now We Are…

  • Still reliving memories from our dear friend’s recent visit
  • Completely amazed how beautiful this small country truly is
  • Blessed that we have had Tessa now for almost a year – Wow…my little gal, do I love you!
  • Grateful for the upcoming opportunity to visit a new country
  • Unable to believe that we will soon be celebrating 10 years – who knew saying two little words would create a lifetime of happiness and genuine love.  Thank you, thank you Robert for being the man that you are and for all of the gifts you have bestowed upon me.  No words can properly express how grateful I am and how deeply you are loved.  This is the best ride I have ever been on!
  • Happy to have read the recent words, “Comparison is the thief of joy,” and thinking long and hard about that simple, yet profound statement.  It allows me to fall deeper into this life, leaving behind the ever so easy habit of comparing all that surrounds us, with that of others and finding great peace in knowing everything that surrounds me is simply…perfect regardless of what others say or do.
  • Taking time to stop and look at Noah as he grows ever so quickly and feeling full that he is our son…the boy I had always wanted.
  • Looking forward to a weekend at home with a slight chance of rain…oh, how I love it all.
  • Listening to Radio Paradise and reliving memories of Gimmelwald – what a special little place.

Happiness Is...

Oh, our cups are quite full this week.
Last week was a beautiful week, in more ways than one.
We spent much needed time with the dearest of friends, shared our love of the Alps with fresh eyes and open hearts, caught up on time past and present, laughed, shared meals, shared happiness and sorrows and felt, well, rather empty upon their departure.
Dear friends are magical really, they warm you up and make you smile in ways you might have forgotten were possible.
Oh, Tricia and Stef, thank you for a wonderful visit and for allowing me to share my family, my new home and my love of the Alps with you...I am most happy that my loves were contagious!
Please come again soon!

Today

Today we are...

  • Officially out of storage for our blog...yikes, what to do now?!
  • Celebrating Tessa's 11th month birthday - really, our gal is already that old!?
  • Thinking of friends and family during the 4th of July celebrations.
  • Still listening to and falling deeper into the lyrics and sounds of Joe Purdy - how is it that one can sing, write and play so well?!
  • Enjoying Tuesday gyms days and most grateful for Angela.
  • Missing my man while he tours around and works extra hard in England.
  • Anxious to see dear friends on Monday!  Yipeee!
  • Exited that the Tour de France is this weekend in our neck of the woods!
  • Unable to believe that we graduated from Drexel 12 years ago and still happy for such an incredible experience and of course for opening doors that lead to the opening of this heart!
  • Looking so forward to seeing the Emerald Isle that I can hardly wait!
  • Most grateful for our health and our family...as it truly is the little things that make life so grand!
