I have said it before, but I feel the need once again to state my genuine love of the fall.
This time of year is magical, the leaves are bright hues of yellow, green, red, amber, and orange and as they fall off the trees that housed them through the passing months, I find my arms outstretched, embracing and relishing in all their glory.
The season passes so quickly, and as each leave struggles to hold on, I find myself doing the same. Soon enough these beautiful trees will be skeletons, with thin branches stretched to embrace the falling snow, which I will add is also quite beautiful. But there is something magical about the fall. The newly crisp air, the dew that softly falls in the morning hush, the bed of leaves that crunch beneath our feet, the joy the season brings and the hope that the winds don’t blow so that we have the opportunity to enjoy yet one more day of colorful bliss.
The sweaters that feel so cozy and the hats that give us a hug each time we stretch them over our heads, oh, I do, love, love this time of the year!
