I needed to get this posted before our little gal turns a whopping 7 months. We are taking her all in, but boy, it seems as though we literally blinked and Tessa was 6 months. I once heard that parents should take the time to truly fall in love with their children and I must say, I have fallen into that well of passion over my daughter. I love to watch her, try to imagine what she is thinking, dream of what she will be like when she is older, relish in her strong will, laugh at her squeals and observe her in complete disbelief when she is sleeping. I am still tickled pink that I have a daughter and often say to her “thank you for being my daughter and for choosing us.”
So what is sweet Tessa doing now that she is 6 full months? Glad you asked.
Nursing up a storm…hurray for this Mama and my 18lbs. daughter!
Not yet eating, but soon, very soon.
Laughing
Loving Noah and watching his every move.
Becoming more aware of the world around her.
Sleeping – oh, well, when she can.
Her latest skills include: grasping, rolling and trying to master sitting up.
I think she says, “hi,” but the verdict is till out.
Filling our home with smiles, laughter, tearful eyes and joy.
Tessa went from a full head of almost black hair, to a sweet head of light brown hair – albeit a few strands!
Happy 6 months Tessa we love you more as each day passes!
