“One doesn’t have to travel far to make new
discoveries, see the world anew and feel alive.”
One and a half hours away from Basel, in the French speaking
part of Switzerland lies the crystal clear waters of lake Neuchatel and its’
quaint city. Though the day was a
bit overcast and cool, we spent time lazily picnicking by the lake, while our
son enjoyed throwing stones and conversing with passerby swans. The Alps were visible from the shores;
kites flew high as the day marched on in a slow, meandering fashion. Sometimes, one doesn’t have to go far
in order to feel away from it all.
